Body-Mind-Spirit - Inspiration for Writers, Dreamers, and Seekers of Health & Happiness
Today is my official publication day (Pub Day)! If you’ve already ordered a copy, thank you! It’s on its way! E-books should appear on your e-reader. Paperbacks will arrive soon. If you haven’t yet ordered a copy, I’d be grateful if you’d do that now. You may purchase it wherever books are sold. Or, you may order one here. Book sales today are very important and set the tone for the success of the book. I appreciate your support and am proud of this book, which will inspire and inform writers and other creative people.
Thursday, June 3rd, is my Virtual Launch. I think of this as a party/celebration. I’m excited to see old and new friends. If you haven’t registered and you’d like to join us, I’d be honored. It's free and open to the public, but you must register. I’ll be in conversation with my mentor, author advocate, and publisher, Brooke Warner. Brooke is publisher of She Writes Press and SparkPress, president of Warner Coaching Inc., and author of Write On, Sisters!, Green-light Your Book, What's Your Book?, and three books on memoir. Brooke is a TEDx speaker, weekly podcaster (of “Write-minded” with co-host Grant Faulkner of NaNoWriMo), and the former Executive Editor of Seal Press. She writes a monthly column for Publishers Weekly. I’m thrilled that she agreed to help me celebrate the launch of my new book. We’ll be talking about cultivating peace of mind in writing and in life. This event is free and open to the public, but you must register here. We’ll be raffling off books and a hammock!

What Is That Book About
Margo Kelly (author) Book Review said “This book makes a great companion book for Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way and Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic.”
Write or Die Tribe included my book in a list of “Books We Can’t Wait to Read in June!” Here’s what they said: “Bella Mahaya Carter's new book brings the age-old sentiments of being and presence to new light for writers looking for guidance in the wild world of publishing. This inspiring, writer-centric read is the pep talk that unpublished authors never knew they needed, serving as a perfect next step for fans of Courtney Maum's Before and After the Book Deal.”
I had a wonderful conversation with fellow writing coach, Kevin Johns.

Some of you have asked what you can do to help support me and my book. Here are a few suggestions.
• Buy copies. I’ve been told that this book makes a great gift for any writer in your life. Even non-writers will find support and inspiration in these pages, especially if you have other creative pursuits.
• Online Reviews. These are very important. Please post an honest review on Amazon. 50 seems to be the magic number after which the algorithms start to work in an author’s favor. I’d be grateful if you’d post a review. It doesn’t have to be long. A couple sentences will do. It’s not the length of reviews that matter; it’s the number.
• Share my social posts with your networks. I’m sharing a lot online. You know what they say: “sharing is caring.” I feel your support online. Keep it coming, Friends!
• Bookstore Requests. If you live near Studio City, CA and happen to be at Bookstar/Barnes & Nobel, or you’d like to pay them a visit, please ask them to order my book.
Thanks for helping me celebrate and get the word out about my new book! I’m excited to share it with you!
