Overcoming Writing Obstacles, Part 1 of 3

9/6/2022

I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend! Jim and I had a wonderful day at the beach.

To celebrate the launch of my upcoming writing circles, I’m sharing a series of three videos on overcoming writing obstacles. These obstacles aren’t limited to writers. We all experience them, especially when it comes to creative work, trying something new, going out of your comfort zone, and taking risks.
The six most common obstacles are: time, overwhelm, feeling not good enough, fear of what others will think, lack of accountability, and money.

But underneath all these challenges is the mother of all obstacles: your thinking! Learning how to relate skillfully to your thoughts is the most liberating thing you can do for your writing and life.

This first video focuses on understanding what’s behind the challenges of not having enough time and feeling overwhelmed.

I hope you enjoy it!

If you’re a current writing circle participant or have spoken to me, please let me know a.s.a.p. if you’d like me to save you a seat. They are filling quickly!

REGISTRATION: SEPTEMBER 12 - 16

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'd love to hear from you!
